I am right in thinking that these are the enoying tapping noise?
Is it possible to stop them? |

and hydraulic tappets are totally different to the energy lumps mechanical ones. |

Cam shaft has to come out, which means cambelt has to come off. |

your tappets are under the rocker cover
got to take the cover undoing the bolts/nuts and see something like this

Mine is over head cam and not a double like that.
But I asume that it will look similar. I can take that off that's not to hard.
What do I do after that?

adjust them wiith feeler gauges. You got a haynes manual? if not get one its all in there and theres pics to! |

gsf do ther gaskets for less than half the price of renault. Any motor factors will do them.
If they can;t get anythgin up ask for a 1992 1.4 clio RT OHC cam cover gasket. |
