i have changed loads of thing to try and solve this problem and its still with me, the car really struggles to start from cold, i have to put my foot right down on the throttle when im turning it over, and when it does start its on the verg of stalling it idles very very low for about a min and then goes up to normal idle, i have run out of ideas on this one.

ICV
AIR TEMP SENSOR
LEADS
DIZZY CAP
ROTOR ARM
PLUGS
ALSO I HAVE CHEKED FOR A GOOD EARTH. |

yes but if its shorting out it can cause problems |

hi sorry for slow reply, iv had a bad case of food poisoning from tescos, im slowly on the mend now, il have a look at the eiring in a few days when the room stops spinning

i seem to have this same problem lately with the 1.8 SPI ,it takes a few attempts to start the car from cold
i had a new lambda sensor fitted about 8 months ago but i have a leak from the mid box in the exhaust if that makes any difference |
