Yep....It's all over the plave <-----(place) when I rev up and then when stop revving.....oh and when I brake. Guessing it's the mounts as engine rocks a bit.
Where' sthe mounts at on the TD engine? I've found the one on the left side but cannot see the one on the gearbox end, also is there another one as Haynes ( ) only states two?

the gearbox mount is on the passenger side under the airbox.
The one you need to worry about is the rear dog bone mount, need to get to it from underneath.
Thankfully its easy on the td's the donut mount takes a lot longer to do. |

Aye dog bone mount it is, easy to change. Might not the sole cause of your problems though, i've not long changed mine and I can still feel the engine move about a fair bit, have trouble getting in to 2nd and 1st too when coming down the gears unless i dab the brake moving the engine forward. |

Had a closer look whilst I had my car jacked up.
The rubber around the rear mout is just hanging off and I can wiggle it a bit with my fingers!!!
What's the damage for one of these from renault, as GSF don't seem to have the TD ones?
It looks quite easy to change, looks like three bolts.

Got the dog bone mount today
£18
When I change it will the engine need to be supported or will be held by the other mounts? |

I didn't bother supporting it. The dog bone mount isnt a supporting mount anyway. |

LOL. Ah well at least I can keep her happy now and get on with the decorating
Have just got back, feels soooo wierd!
Gearknob movement is down to a minimum and gear changes are smoother!
Kick ass! |

Bens clio was the same, you drove it, but you had to bite the clutch, use the right amount of throttle to take up the free play then drive normally then back off in a certian way etc! |
