hi all,
in the 94' clio rsi, down between the pedals is a rubber gaitor which the streering column passes through. Theres a ball shaped object which sits into the rubber gaitor providing resistance, mine is come away from the gaitor. Is that ball meant to be glued into the gaitor or just sits inside it with a bit of grease? |

the gator holds it in place, because it's a tight fit.
If you want you can grease the inside of it to aid the fluidity of the steering columns movement but I never do. |

its meat to sit in and its not that tight a fit most have popped out. Stick a cable tie roudn the gaiter to hold it tight. |
