Day one: 1.4 meets the valver.
1.4 donates wheels and a load of bodywork! Note the two broked spring parts in the foreground, happened to each car after 80k. A r19 weakness?

broken springs are a renault weakness and ford to.
mount, they all look like that, if its not making noise or bangign leave it, new ones i find bring a lot of vibration to the car. |

It's sill inspection time!
The inevitable rusty hole:
[img:600:229:da78bf3cc7]http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i233/tominbristol/r19%202006-09/Dsc00111.jpg[/img:da78bf3cc7]
Not as much trapped rusty crap as I feared!
[img:600:401:da78bf3cc7]http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i233/tominbristol/r19%202006-09/Dsc00108.jpg[/img:da78bf3cc7]
Rear wants rubbing back and re-undersealing before it's too late:

Front not so bad (note freshly resprayed wing)

Nice and tidy inside the arch now too, unual bunch of crap built up here over 2 months:
