After 2 weeks with new exhasut rubbers on a couple have snapped again.
Does anybody do better quality aftermarket ones, maybe poly or something?
Cheers |

ive given up with mine. For starters the scorpion stainless exhaust is so heavy that the rubbers just get stretched out to the max and the exhaust hangs really low, and also the little 'fingers' that stick out of the box to go through the rubbers are either really badly designed or have been bodged in the past, so as soon as you drive the car and the thing moves about, it slips off the rubbers!
So it just bodged up with a wire coat hanger until i can sort something better (thats what i tell myself, but if im totally honest i know ill never bother until something breaks) |

genuine renault rubbers r the strongest. motorfactor variety are poor quality. last about 3weeks lol. my scorpian syustem never fitted with the brackets as neil says. had to have new brackets welded on and uses a custom solid rubber mount.

renault are the ones to go for. You can help them with cable ties too. |

Yeah, my DTM backbox is held on with some big ass cable ties cut short, fits great and easily raised to the height of your choice - no stretching either! |
