Well looking to change the lag for a desesal (joke) not sure what to look for or what models to look at I will not be looking at a 2.2 lag as they are shite so I'm looking at a turbo D something from citroen or peugeot maybe a newish laguna saloon anybody any experience of these models ie what to look for, mpg best models etc etc. as usual all advise greatfully recieved. |

VAG tbh if you want a diesel.
Although the DCI renaults are a lot better than th eold diesel lumps, citroen/pug HDi'sare also very good.
More liekyl to get a ren of some sort for a better price than the others though. |

bora tdi, golf tdi is to dear, passat tdi (i'd pick the bora over it), audis are to expensive for what they are tbh.
307 HDI is a decent drive, the 206 isn't. Not tried any other of the new pugs except those 2.
Clio DCI I imagine is to small for you but its a good engiern in a clio body, the megane dci (same engine) has a far better interior much nicer place to be and I managed 120 out of it and still got 40+mpg, I was well impressed new shape with the fat arse btw.
Not driven new shape laguna yet. |

seen lots of new shape lags 1.9 dci for sale are they any good? seem to be around 5K 2-3yrs old |

dunno not driven them but the 1.5 is very good and I assume thats what the megane I drove had. |
