The cambelt recently snapped (wahey!) on my 95 16v exec. Just got car back after rebuild yesterday and it's running hotter than it used to. Used to run around or below 1/4 temp with fan very rarely kicking in. It now runs around 1/2 way or just above on temp guage, rising quickly till fan cuts in in traffic. Any ideas why this is.
Cheers in advance

if its not airlock. try getting the sensors checked or water pump,
mine was doing the same thing, the water pump had gone and because of that my head gasket went. good old R19s always keep you busy |

Hmmm...thanks, i'll get those checked also. As for keeping me busy recently...cambelt, front springs and strut mounts, clutch, exhaust, wheel bearing...the list goes on!!!
