When (roughly) should the low fuel warning light come on?
I'm too scared to run the tank low enough to see when it comes on - the guage (traditional non-fancy-digital-one) sits at the bottom for ages when there's still loads of fuel left but I've never managed to get more that 45l in the tank when I run it reading empty for as long as I dare (supposed to be a 55l tank)
Don't know whether the warning light is broken or if I just need to be more brave!
Cheers, Mark |

1 gallon left and the light comes on, applies to all models.
Except the clio 16V with its aux tank, when the light come son and you run it dry you need to put in 2 gallons in so the aux pump lifts it into the main tank. |

thaks for the info guys,
Looks like it's time to get a jerry can in the boot and run it until the light comes on (or the engine dies!) and see what happens. |

In my Green RT if I used to thrash it round corners hard while the fuel was low the light would flicker on and off for a few seconds as the fuel would get splashed about into the tank. I managed to get 40 miles with the light on full time once - in fact it was on most of the time in those days, tight student that i am! |
