Just been chatting to this lass on MSN, she knows I like my Renaults and obviously when she found out I had two Renaults she asked to see what they were.
Her reaction to the Clio: "Oooh I like that, that's very nice!"
Her reaction to the 19: " That's nasty!!!"
The cheek! That 19 is my pride and joy woman! |

To be honest if I had to get rid of the Clio or the 19 then it would be the Clio I'd sell! The 19 holds little monetary value and too much sentimental value for me to ever get rid! |

Yeah not many girls seem to be a fan of 19's to be honest. Well.....think the problem is they don't know what they are. I was chattin to 2 girls that came & sat with me & my mates aggeesss ago and we got onto the subject that I wasn't drinking cuz I was driving etc, and then one of 'em asked me what car I had. Well before I even answered I knew they wouldn't have a clue. Like the fact that I didn't say "corsa", "fiesta" or "saxo" just completely threw them  lol. I was like "Renault 19 16v" and they just looked at each other like "errrr......okay". But then ended up giving them a lift from the pub to the club and they were like "oooh nice car! Wow it's got leather!".....etc lol. Then one of 'em was like "thought you said you had a Renault 19?" and I was like "um.....yes.....this is it........that's why it's got Renault 19 written on the back"
Basically, to most girls these days........if it ain't got massive wheels and a body kit, it can't possibly be fast or a good car y'know |
