its lucky the gates there otherwise it would have been the R19 that would have take the full force! if the gate had been open at the top, or not there, it would have written off both cars |

the bumper is fecked, fully cracked, so, if a replacement item is more expensive and a front skirt that i like, then its getting a front skirt.
i know someone who works in a bodyshop, so he can do it for me, on the cheap, but i dont know if i trust him with pearlescent paint yet! |

well just been to see the sprayer from where i used to work, he rekons the bumper may be saveable, if it is he'll mix up the paint and lacquer etc and spray the lot for £140 so, not too bad but its still £140 that i wouldnt have had to spend! |

feck that, its a tiny area, you could do that yourself with a spray can...not like you need to spray whole panels or anything! |

?
there is no law against how fast you get to the speed limit.
would of said
"did you catch me speeding?"
no sir
"is there anything defective about my car?"
no sir
"then you have no reason to pull me over...good day." |

yea, exactly, but i was turning down roads and accelarating harshly, upto the limit, then down another road, so he wouldnt have been able to catch me speeding, and he would have no proof of me speeding as there was only one officer and no speed tracking video's so i would have said no i'll take it to court! |

I think you'll find that you have to accelerate up to the limit as quickly as is safe, 2/3 seconds to 30 is a safe acceleration.
I used to do that in the cossie, they hated it, from 30 up to 70 instantly joining the motorway, they used to be allover my arse, couldn't do anything though. |
