Could have been on the car 5 mins or 10 years but thats the chance you take.
Don't know the price of a new one for a valver but I paid about £30 for one for a 1.4. |

I wouldnt put a second hand water pump on my car no matter how cheap it was. Same as i wouldnt put on a second hand cambelt, tensioners etc.
If it goes, it is inconvenience of breaking down somewhere, pain in the arse of having to change it again, and the possibility that it would fuck the engine when it stops pumping.
All to save a couple of quid? |

I know what you mean but someone will get it. Even if it's just a quick fix before they flog the car on.
We on here obviously wouldn't do it because we actualt give a toss about our cars but that don't mean everyone does. |
