I get this sort of knocking/clunking from the front of my Laguna, it feels as though its on the passenger side and only really does it when going through/over bumps (which would not be so bad but for the sh*t state of the roads over here with potholes everywhere). It's difficult to explain exactly what it feels like, but I can feel it up through the steering wheel.
Could this be the drop link rods? I saw somewhere that if these are worn they can cause a knocking at the front end. I don't really notice it when driving normally, only when going slow and over bumps.
If it is the drop link rods are they easy enough to replace?
Thanks |

Check the obvious stuff first, could be something as simple as a broken spring. |

Sounds like a suspect lower ball joint.
But then again, could be ARB bushes, track rod end, wishbone bushes.
Jack the car up and give everything a real good shake, see if you can pin point the problem. |

drops links wear quickly, easy to change.
If you look in the progress reports and the laguna thread you will see pics etc of the job.
Easy enough. |
