Anyone got any info on these? I know what they look like and the engine it has (and the ugly as hell interior) but what's the bodywork like? And what sort faults are there?

they are well better looking than the 5! faster to (top end).
I would rather have an 11 over a 5 any day.
Its basically a 5 with a boot so all the same stuff applies.
I missed out on a free one last year, well gutted. |

Yeah I like it over the 5, looks as though it would outhandle it too having a wider wheel base an all. Looks dated, but I think I could sort that out with some subtle modifications, will probably want a respray (Might be able to have that done properly and the cheap though  )
The 5's are a little bit expensive for what they are I always thought. This however may well be the answer to my prayers, let's just hope the thing is still there and has not been snatched up by some nob.
It will make an excellent project for me seeing as I can't be arsed with the Clio anymore. Might have to leave it at my brothers though, don't think the parents will be impressed with me if I get it at the moment. |

liek the 205 and 309 GTI's, I would have a 309 GTI over a 205 any ay of the week.
I think the 309 and the 11 look better than their smaller counterparts.
The good thing is the engiens the same so theres a lot of tried and tested stuff around for it, same with suspension etc. |

That's good, i knew the engine was but I didn't know about the suspension, I suppose the brakes will the same aswell then? (They'll be Girling too I assume).
I'll let you know how it goes.
One confusing thing on the ad though was this...
"CB BOY NA"
No idea what that means but if no one can shed any light on it, I will ring the bugger up and ask. |
