The only one that I've read (not experienced yet!) is to tie a bit of string to the end before you pull it thru then you can use the same bit of string to pull the new one back thru the right route back in place! Wink

Swearing at it doesn't help Wink

Had to change mine.........twice!

The string thing works, but if you can get another person engineside to help guide it while you pull the string in the footwell it makes it a hella lot easier.

Have fun!

How do you release the self adjuster on the pedal?

Push the self adjuster up and the cable will slack off. Then juts slide the cable out from the adjuster.

This can be quite tricky to do, specially when your dangling upside down off the driver seats.

OK cable is in, and it was great.. Very Happy ...Even went into reverse without crunching. But after a drive of 10 miles it appears the cable has stretched in but the adjuster does not appear to have worked in taking up the slack. Do i need to pump the clutch for the adjuster to work, or should it work automatically or do you think that it dont work at all. Mad To get the cable in we took the adjuster back a few notches, so I would say that it was not siezed. Any ideas Guys & Gals.. Idea ..Is there a secret thing to do only known to experienced Retro Renault Members.... Cool Cheers
