Huw's just picked up my Cordoba - hope he enjoys it as much as I have over the last 14mts and 26,000 - very sad to see it go but it was the right decision to make and given all the hassle I've given him about picking it up it was rightly deserved! So my apologies about the whole situation, its taken him about a month from saying he'd have it to actually getting it due to various things and more recently family problems with grandparents having strokes and things.
What next? Not sure. The only way is up - but theres not a lot I want at the moment so I'm going to sit on it for a bit and drive my Dads diesel Volvo S40 with 55mpg.
I am however very tempted to get another Renault 19 16v - not that silver one at a £1k though but if anyone else has got one going then let me know. Hey, I might even be temped by Chris's (PM me the spec?)
Hope you enjoy it Huw, look after her!

You got that up quick. Only just got home, it took a while, 70mph seems so slow on a motorway. Had 44.8mpg on the trip coming in to Aberystwyth just now, not seen anywhere near that in either of my valvers.
Got halfway home from Aberystwyth (12 miles) and realised i'd left the house key on the ring with the key for the TD (which i've lent to me sister!) D'oh!

Thats the 5th time he's driven to mine - and I'm yet to go to his! Not even sure I'll be welcome with the run around this Cordoba has caused him. Got another car on the cards, so might pop over for a weekend break if I'm invited |

Adam ur more than welcome - maybe we could offer u one of the 5 cars that now belong to either Huw or I - i think the neighbours might start complaining before long!
And Huw 70mph is fine on the motorway especially when its dark and u have the stupid sat nav woman barking instructions at u! |
