UGH what the fuck, it has wiper spoilers too.

Bonnet vent placed in seemingly random place on the bonnet. Weird thingies on windscreen wipers:

and lol @ the idiot dissing the standard bonnet vent and standard boot spoiler
in general the barries leave the 19's alone but now and then you do get one.
there is a barried chammy i've spotted a couple of times round here, will try to get pics of it when i next see it.
i have seen a member of RSC with a barried 19 and he has posted pics of it here on RR (no . . not Leeanes 19 that Mick built lol) but yes thankfully a barried 19 is a rare beast. |

the bonnet vent issue actually concerns me.
Because there arent a lot of 19 16Vs about anymore, a lot of (most) people probably dont know that the vent is standard. When they see my car they must think that I have put the bonnet vent on and I am some kind of Barry! |

i like the vent on my valver, but yes i have been asked a few times
'why did you put that on the bonnet'
so you tell the fool its standard for the valver and they are like oh is it.
we could of course put non valver bonnets on our cars but that would only serve to give Chris H another point on the Ph1 > Ph2 arguement because the Ph1 16v also has the different bumper to signify its a 16v (the ph2 16v shares the same bumper with the higher spec ph2 19's) so you can tell its not just a standard car etc . . hehe |

the sort of ppl that hate halfords stick on plastic bits and lexus rear lights etc on a car.
when it first started those forums were really good, showing your average corsa with huge spoilers and lightbrows, paintcan zorsts, painted power drums etc hehe but now it seems more of ppl posting a car and calling it barry it if has a sticker on it thats not meant to be there.
now they would prolly all pick on simonds 19 because he has a Williams sticker on the bootlid . . |

Agreed, it used to be really good, if a car got posted on there you knew it was going to be a right shed before you even clicked the thread.
Still get some really good shitters on there that make me laugh out loud, but these days theres a much higher percentage of barely modded cars too.
Like I've said before though.. it's so refreshing to see a good no holds barred abusing on a forum.
Still probably the funniset site on the net though. I love www.barryboys.co.uk! |

You see that Corsa, although misguided and a complete waste of time and money, isnt that bad compared to some that get posted |

When I had a valver, I found that other road users were firmly divided into two groups.
Group 1 saw you coming up behind and thought you were a barry boy so "I'll give this ned a run for his money" - usually in some shitty car, in which case they lost and looked dissapointed.
Group 2 actually knew what the car was and respected it so either let you passed or had a go and gave you a thumbs up or a flash or something.
The number of people at Uni when I took it there thought it wasn't a stick on shocked me |
