Don't diss the ph2 man! Seriously, though, 750 might be a little high , but it does look in good condition and its got long mot and tax. No doubt Chris H will say 750 is extorionate. |

thats been on there before. In fact if you delve about, im sure i posted it in this forum some time ago.
Its got a bit of rust on one of the arches if i recall, and the other one get replaced by renault under the 8 year anti corrosion warranty.
I dont know where you are mate, but our very own Chris H on this site has a blue phase 1 chamade just like that for sale

and heres the progress report for it where you can see all the work that has gone into the car. Having been owned and worked on by Chris H (the undisputed top man on 19 16Vs), it is in top mechanical condition - guaranteed.

he only wants 500 for his, but he is in Glasgow so like I said, it depends where you are! |

I'm with Neal on this one. If i was you Ollie i'd think about buying Chris H's one even if it means a days travel. Especially if you are willing to pay £750 for a car that you have no idea of the history of it whereas Chris's one has a detailed progress report to show all the work done. Spend the £250 you save on travel expenses and then a decent night out when you get back! |

I did think there was something wrong with it, hence why Chris was so pissed off with it he wanted to sell it. But I didn't say anything cuz I'm usually wrong!
Like why would you spend all that time, effort & money on a car and then sell it if it was fine! |

well the car still drives fine etc, but if you maintain more than 110mph for any length of time oil gets in the coolant a wee bit.
The clutch is ok till iot heats up then it drags.
But even if it was fixed its no use to me, I will never be able to uinsure it and I am getting out the country as well. |

Ive seen this one around, nice looking but didnt get a decent chance to have a look. The owners did have her up for £777 in local paper and this is the 3rd time they have had it up on ebay. |

Was on the news last night that Australia are looking for farmhands. You only have to do the work for 3 months but you get a 2 yr visa. |
