Is the side indicator wiring pretty much identical on all cars, i.e. 2 wires?

I'm in need of some new side indicators for the 19. The ones I've got on now (the Focus-style triangular jobbies) really suit my car but there's a lot of choice on eBay meant for an actual Focus!

Basically what I'm asking is, if I bought some side repeaters meant for a Focus, will they wire in without much hassle?

surely the side indicator is just a casing which the bulb plugs into?

If you need to ask if a bulb requires two wires, I think you better entrust your car to someone better qualified Wink

I was just wondering if different marques had different wiring, hence if items advertised as fitting a Ford Focus would only fit a Ford Focus!

Equally, if you have a problem connecting your focus indicators I'll bring some spade connectors and crimping tools and we can do the job properly. However, since I had no intention of going to the meet then I'm afraid I'll have to charge you a standard call out fee - 10% Retro Renault Discount Wink

Wiring them in isn't the problem dear Humphrey! Just checking I'm not wasting money on something that may not fit!
