A garage? Just been offered a job by a local garage, well my dad just informed me they'd phoned to offer. Just wondering if anyone here worked in a small local garage and if they'd recommend it.
Cheers

army garage, not much diffrence, other then services every other 2 mins.
tyipcal really.
and yes, i would highly recommend it, well for me anyway. getting paid to do what i like, cant see anything wrong with that personally.
the only downside to public garages is how extra careful you have to be, were as army stuff dont really matter, kick it punch it dent it, its only gonna get shot at anyway.
small garages tend to be a freindler invroment, none of this "big boss has his big boss and the car needs doing or else you fired, type at places like merc and jag.
(had a mate work for jag, but he quit)
its normally 1 electrical and 1 head mechanic. the rest are just bods.
brings back memorys of when i was doing stuff with TSG (small garage)
you got any qualifications? i know garages are picky about these now
or at least 700 years working experance. |

Qualifications yes, but in different areas. Garage is about 200 yards up the road, so its our local. |

if you dont mind getting dirty all day everyday, and have the money to spend out on tools, and dont mind getting frustrated alot, then yes its probly for you, but small garages are shit to work in, treat the staff like shit in my experiences |
