lol, yea, my rear mount braket needs tightening up again on the clio, i moved the car, got all the tools out then though, nah, cant be arsed so left it, then i thought right i'll go and port and polish the valver's head ready for the turbo, but yet again, the exhaust manifold needs to come off, but wont shift so i yet again cant be arsed |

well, i've done a coolant flush today on the 19, washed and polished the 19 too and took it for a 100 mile spin and it never missed a beat, steering is now spot on, gear change is nice and smooth, hardly any play on the gearstick either, put a 2.0 focus to shame as well
starter is still a little hesitant when the engine is hot, heatsheild is now in place thou.
the gearbox oil leak was coming from the speedo cable entry, got a new white plastic bit and put it back together and that seems to have cured the leak, odd.
cruising round town and down the motorway temp sat on 1st mark all the time, rising to just under the 3rd mark sitting in traffic but going down to the 2nd mark when fan cuts in and back to 1st mark when out of traffic.
touch wood, i seem to have a reliable 19 again |
