Hi,

I have a r19 16v with just basic mods, decat, s/s exhaust, hill power chip, inclosed induction kit. (brakes and suspension has also be done)

I was thinking rather spending money on cams/ headwork would it not be benificial to get a 2ltr engine put in then get work done on this?

Is there anyone that could do this in suthampton area?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes 2.0 engine would be a better base engine to work on. All depends how cheap you can get hold of one for though!

Cheers for the replies.

Stan: would you be able to supply the engine as well? how much would it cost incl. the engine?

Also, which engine would it be? magane or williams or other? Confused

Cheers.

wot (I mean what really) engine do you want?!

let me know, and i'll find you one. generally megane F7R's are cheaper/more abundant. using the bottom end from this with your 1.8 head is the easiest solution

What is the average price of this conversion? using my head on a 2ltr bottom end. Is this the most cost effective way rather than fitting the whole 2ltr megane engine? Confused

Thanks for your help.
