Mine is on 17's as well and is lowered 35mm.

Wouldn't go any lower.

BTW you will get through lower ball joints like anything!

Cheers guys. I'm thinking of uprating the suspension so I was just after some ideas. Is the torsion bar easy to lower or is it likely to be seized in there???

Spray plus-gas on the ends every day for a week and drive the car everyday.

I did that and had no problems getting the bars out.

On the other hand, i tried to do one after dousing with WD40 every day for several weeks. One bar was totally siezed solid. The other one came free and I tried to bash the stuck one out from the other side with a length of metal bar and a big club hammer. Wasnt having any of it. Swapped the whole rear beam off another car in the end.

Mine was really easy.

I drove it to the mechanics and he had the trouble of doing it for me! Laughing

Mate had a valver lowered 60mm on 17's had no end of problems, soon went back to valver ph2 alloys, used to scrub on the pipe from the reserve to the main tank iirc
