or

I think it would be a right laugh. Who thinks we could buy an old Renault estate for £100 that would get to italy and back?

19 hatch has lots of load area.

we gonna scrap it/sell it there or we gonna drive it back? On the sites they say leave it at a scrappers etc. I personanly would like to drive it back as well.

19 would be good yeah, especially from the point of view that we're all familiar with them in case anything goes wrong.

But, if its to be any of the usual suspects going (Chris, JB, me etc), we're all fairly/very tall so it might be a bit small for that kind of distance.

Would be good to have a 7 seater such as the savanna. Would also be cool to sneak a 21T engine in there Smile

7 seater savanna ain't that good!

its rearward facing seats in the load area, so theres no room for bags etc!

I think maybe a van/minibus thing.

Depends on who goes.

Thsi really is one thing I would love to do though, these things are great drive to china etc great stuff!

Yeah but we can bodge that to however we want it Wink

If it was only going to be 3 or 4 people then an old laguna or 21 would do, just a normal saloon.

If there were enough people who wanted to do it (and they weren't going to pull out at the last moment <ahem>), we could field a Retro-Renault A and B team Smile

Probably best that Addie and Gentle Ben went in separate cars anyway Laughing

How much £ would need to be put in per person for entry / car / fuel etc?

Its the commitment of £ that would be the problem for me, and it would have to be after my degree is finished next year.

Get everyone to chip in for a deposit.

I might even donate my R19 if I still have it next year Wink

OK so you and me for definate

I'm sure JB will be up for it but he can be bullied into it if he resists at first Wink

The end of the street is too far for Roger so Italy will be out of the question

Even the mystical and elusive Chet might be up for it?
