My kids mistook my radio as a slot machine and filled it with coins.
Now disconnected the radio and managed to remove all coins. The radio though doesn't work, when i turn it on, I can hear a little static coming from speakers, and the buttons light up , but there is no display on the LCD strip beside my clock display. So I'm unable to enter a code to allow me to use radio. I have reseated all cables going into back of radio ,no damage there. So am i correct in thinking the LCD strip maybe gone due to old age . The megane RT is a '96. Anybody else have a problem like this or replaced this LCD strip before or know how to remove it. |
