central locking playing up!!!!!

well every now and then my passengers side door makes a noise like its trying to do summit Embarassed

and i think its either packing up or getting jammed

so how hard is it to remove door cards???? and what woukld i no look for ???

its nto to hard to get the door cards off, worst bit is the black sticky goo sealant they use.

Anyway its common, load of wd-40 etc will not doubt sort it out.

no plastic sheeting, the black sealant pish is there for that.

Have a look in my project Y progress report for pics of the door card off etc. Also red 3 door ph1!

on the tungy wen u use the plip key it doesnt seem to want to lock or unlock u have to use the key, wen you press the botton all it does is moves the locks up a mm or so does that mean its the motors or the plip key and sensor

when you use the key does the boot and other doors open?

Also push the button the other way and it should lock the doors. If it only pushes one way then someone has fitted the front on wrong when they were changing a bulb or something. take it out pop the front off turn it up the other way and it shoudl work.

well the boot doesnt lock and unlock with the c/l neway neva did as some had cut the wires so i need to get tht re-wired, but yer wen u use the key all the doors unlock and lock, which button you talking bout mate the one on the key? if so u can only push it one way neway. its only recently its started doing this and its pissing me off i remeber the days of pressing the button and badabing its unlocked now i have to fiddle with key lol annoying

is the tungy a chamade? if so the wires break on them due to the way its set up.

no the dash button inside the car.

yer chammy chris, tht button works fine its button on they key and reciver which has stopped working, well not stopped allltogether as i said it moves the lock up and dwn a mm

hmm changed the battery in it?

is the transmitter loose?

Same sort of thing happened on mine, dab of solder works every time.

Also look in my white chamades progress report and my blue ones for th eboot central locking repair.

on the locking mechanism itself. When you get he door card off it shoudl be pretty obvious.
