hiya guys
Im about to take engine out of r19 16valve hatch out off the bottom, in the haynes i was looking threw what i needed to remove, it says power stearing pump but then when i look at the (how to remove pump) it says no info available on this;-(
whats involvd never removed a pump apart from that it seeems pritty stright forward;)

easy enough.
there 3 16mm bolts.
Anyway that doesn't matter as to take the engine out the bottom ou have to drop the full subframe anyway whioch has the rack etc all attached to it. |

ok cool im soo badly guna fuck something up by doing this lol doesnt mattter too mucha s long as i dont effect anything on the engine for when i put it into the next car;-)
debating wether or not to buy a crane for like £180 deliverd from ebay would i need a 2 ton er? |

hire one from HSS, 30 quid for the weekend.
And the engine and box are aroung 200 odd kg's.
I have a 1 tone crane, jib length alters that though mind! |

i reckon come a year or so i would have used more then rents worth in crane hire lol didnt relise engines were only 200kgs i could get away with a one toner then as they only £130 deliverd i think il look now;-) |

that'll do the job nicely, its bigger than mine, if you can get a 1 ton cheper get that.
i can lift the front end of the car up easily with my 1 ton crane. It can also hoist cans etc up as well for the laziness factor. |

oo i get you;_) maybe i could use it to lift my mrs up and hold here there whilst up pop off down the pub for a bit 2 ton? maybe get a 3 ton er;-) |
