arrrr im frezzzing just spent 2 hrs with rac man trying to do up my pullt nut on the crank as it came looos totally flattend battery lost powersteering and stopped pumpping water pump with cause over heating!!!!! pulled over as soon as battery light came on rings them up and waits for them

right he gets ther fills up with water starts it up with battery booster perfect then notices that no of the belts are turning and really slack belt so turn off quick jacks car up and proceeds to tighten up the crank bolt and it was very loose then start her up again perfect belts running then they stop again bolts come loose again so we give up and toe my sorry cold ass back home Crying or Very sad
he says the woodruff key might be worn or broken does this sound right???

if so what shape is they key like a boat or a square??? as im going to try and locate another one tomora

a woodruft key is a piece of metal of varying sizes it is tapped into a groove on various pulleys this locks pieces together to prevent slack movement etc if its worn hence no drive you dig?

there is no key on the aux pulley, its just bolted up F'ing tight

ok then why would it come undone??? and cold i put some thread lock on it???
