How did he manage that? Its usually pretty obvious when somone is doing a 3 point turn.

Is it just the door, or is the pillar damaged?

he was coming round the corner of the road

i reversed up the road a bit to a space, turned the car whilst still going backwards. getting ready to go forwards in the "3 point turn"#

he came round corner, locked up, bang.

and its everything, all the rear quater as well, its to dark for pics. pushed door up into roof as well.

so you were doing this close to a corner and expect it not to happen? Do you give out free crystal balls?

Mirrors....

Shouldn't attempt any manover near a corner, I'm assuming that he braked as soon as he saw you / was only doing 30mph but you were so close to the corner he hit you?

just as well you never paid over the odds for that rusty heap innit... wait you did!

that is a write off, its also not worth getting back on the road, from that pic its a shit heap, rear arch away to feck the underside will be worse.

no bother.

what was the other car like?

he would have had a head on, what car was it? if it was newish then pretensioners and airbags woudl have went off in his so that will be expensive.

Your also to blame for the accident. Unless he was exceding the speed limit by a large margin.

well thats in your favour. did you report it to the police?

If you never reported it then theres no come back really.

He may or may not be insured/licensed. But its best to keep the insurance out of it. If he has neither he doesn't have a leg to stand on. If he has your addy though buy him a 200 quid fezzer again!
