nice buy chris, i do agree with you getting ripped off for 75 quid but hey its only done nearly 70k init, do you reckon thats genuine, i mean as you showed in the pics its got bad rust on the drivers side
nehow good luk and we'll start bids from a £1 to buy it when its done lol |

yeah its genuine, the dash display had never been out, I can tell.
yes I was ripped off but at the end of the day it has a crackign front bumper which my chamade doesn't and the engine might come in handy as will other bits. Like I also got 4 ph1 alloy centre caps and the wheels with no tryes on in great nick!
The snows just started so I have had to close everything up for the moment.
I just washed the headlight glass for the passenger side so I have popped that on to protect it for the moment. |

you gunna fit new fuel lines in 1st get it started and then see if its worth stickin that lump in the chammy? where else is there a high amount of rust or is the body sound other than the drivers side door |

why would I want to stick that in the chammy? The chammys is in better nick, the 68k one will probably need the usual new core plugs etc as its probably like 99% of others not had a coolant change in its life.
I have clio fuel lines otu the back with the red and green fuel line connectors, they will do the job nicely. |

just a thought mind you even if you stuck the 68k lump in the chammy its not like you'll get 900 quid for it, evrytime i go to the local scrapheap i neva manage to find a valver dunno y, theres like loads going round in crawley maybe they might be lookin after them ey |

well found it.
just tried to start it, cranking over fine no go though, then saw the fuel line had popped off, no hose clip, so will try and sort that and it might fire up! woo-goo! |

bridges shud sell fridges not cars bunch of tossers, u ask em for summik simple like a gearbox for a alver or even a mi16 they like ah noooooo ud find dwn the bottom tho, so u ask em kindl to move the car they again are like ahhhhhh nooooooo its to late for that flippin h8 the scotish bloke never trys |

There is a nice sectin of fencing that's easily accessible from both inside and outside the yard so you don't really need to pay for much up there. Although you do run the risk of a beating if you're caught
The best thing to do is pay for an item or two and smuggle the rest out they never check if you pay for somethnig. |

i suppose in that sense fridges are ok if you can smuggle goods out from the back , i rememebr this kiddy there a few mths ago he lobbed a wing mirror over the fence to his mate not much security there i tell ya |

Mate - im well impressed with you saving this car - looks like its going to be a good one to follow.
i never realised that the R19 and clio were so similar.......(rust on b pillar)
