600 quid is a fair privce for a running car tbh.

Somehow and I feel i'm partly to blame is these cars have been driven down in money.

Why not pay 600 quid for a decent 19 16V when a knackered clio costs the same if not more!

Andy sort out some extra earth wiring, they all need it!

Yeah I agree with Chris. I got my Clio cheap (£26) and spent IIR £600 getting it running right and now the Punto(£100) has cost me around £400 to get right so far. He's going for an MOT tommorow or today if I have time.
Spending £600 on a running car, especially with tax and MOT is better than buying a bucket and then spending £££ on it.

As I have learned Laughing

I think Chris was implying that £600 for a Valver is a fair price, when there are still people out there asking £800 - £1200 for them.

£400 - £600 for one decent tax and test and especially sub 100k is a fair price, its a shame there are not many out there that have truely been looked after though which is a factor to do with them being so cheap I guess.

There are some bargins out there, but you have to sit and twiddle your thumbs and wait for one to come up local otherwise it ain't so much of a bargin if you have to drive 400 miles and its knackered!

My £200 valver doesn't start right now though *sobs*
