how much cash would you spend on a 19 mk 1 if it fails a mot. mot costing me 35 plus 10 to pay garage if it goes stright through. but it wont.is it worth spending 150/200pound on repairs if you like the vehicle as you could get another car and by a lemon.would be spending 200 pound on a limited budget to purchase another vehicle.my last car a 405 paid 400pound its back axle was shot .back wheel was very slanting and engine was full of salad cream grey sludge .also drank fuel in comparision my 19 is very good in most respects. any thoughts? |

all depends on how much you like the car.
and how much its gonna cost to repair.
but another thing..why do you have to pay an extra £10 if it goes straight through the mot?!? |

well lets have sa think, get a dodgy ticket on a dangerous vehicle? or spend the money on the car tpo get it right and it will be safe? Or spend the money on another car which might need even more doing to it to make it safe?
Not hard choice really is it? |
