I noticed that on news 24 earlier. a sad day for motorsport.

Feel more sorrow for the loss of Richard Burns than George "Get a liver and still drink like a fish" Best (respect for his earlier life of course)

Tis indeed a sad day. Macrae and burns created a superb rivalry.

never knew he was ill, I did wonder why I hadn't heard about him for a while though!

he was only a boy as well.

Hmm from what I know it was some form of cancer. Poor bloke.

yep died from complications arising from a brain tumour at the age of 34.

He was the only Englishman to have won the WRC.

yep sad day it was, hes the reason i got intressted in the sport and the supporting of subaru and peugeot very sad loss condonolenses go out to the family R.I.P burnsey

spooky thing is, totally independant to this, last night i deleted Richard Burns Rally from my xbox because i thought 'i dont need that anymore'
