hi im new here and i was wondering if anyone can help me i got hold of a
phase 2 renault 19 L reg and only done 39 thou on the clock but its had a small shunt on the passanger side and all i need to do is pull it back for MOT whats the best way of doing this

Ohh nasty, that needs Jigging and the subframe will be bent as well.
But try this, bumper off, chain/rope around somehtign solid liek a lamp post or tree and try reversing, shock it straight. will need a bit of hammer beating as well.
bear in mind the car is pretty much scrap due to the damage. |

well i took the car down to a farm that helped me pull out the front end
take a look at some of the pics
do you think it will pass MOT now

thats the stuff, your up there with the best (me) in structural body repairs.
Try to neaten it up a bit, use a hammer and also the standard jack and wood blocks can pull out any remaining creases if your lucky.
After you finish doing that, spary it or slap engine oil about the place and throw dust and muck on it, do this everywhere to make it not stand out, this will hide any evidence of it. |

hi mate thanks for the advice it worked for and it may help others to
i plan on tidying it up a bit befor i take it for mot plus i need to respray a new wing
its not a bad car only cost me £125 from a scrappy they have loads of cars really cheap to

no bother, they are good cars.
the damage isn't really dangerous, will fold a bit easier if you stuff it into a wall though. |
