Oooh on the subject of Clio's, on that site it says that the Mk1 Clio came with a 1.6 F type engine too. Never seen a 1.6 Clio tbh. Was it a diesel?.

Or is it the same 1.6 engine used in the Volvo 440 (1596cc 83Bhp)?

I didn't know the 'Chamade' name was dropped after the 1992 facelift? I thought the ph2's were still called chamades? Or is that just what everybody refers to them as?

The 1.6 wasn't a diesel, they only came in 1.9 varieties

It was dropped, only ph1's are chamades

That ph1 pic in the link is the same one used in our logo

Na, I remember Haynes even mentions a 1.6 Clio in the intro.

funny I though renault sport has been around since the turbo f1 days Exclamation
based in deippe in the Alpine factory.
