thats the going rate.
its just fucking idiots that pay a grand for a willaims lump that are the mongos that bump up the prices.
i was offered a complete 2l 16v meggy coupe for 350 which was a cat c due to it losign an argument with somthing very solid on the side. |

just out of intrest chris if i was to buy a meggy lump do a lil project of my own as i got my eye on a blue chammy, how hard and long would it be to do a pukka job? |

well to keep it looking standard is tricky, megane standard means a lot of hassle removing the dash and fitting the wiring etc into a 19 dash shell which isn;t easy.
19 standard means some mods to the engine.
Unless of course you just use the megane bottom end then its easy. |

We've also been looking at jointly buying another one from a scrappy for £125. |

150ish bhp straight out the box with a chip to sort the fueling, a good bit more torque. |

hmmmmmm might have a look into that, its not worth doing on the tungy so may look around for a cheap 19 chammy p1 obviously |

No electrical problems but I made the loom from scratch and am confident with my wiring work. Reliablity has also been good to date although we've killed the JC5 gearbox meaning i've got to fetch the lump out again soon but as we've got a BBT Padle clutch to fit to it was inevitable. Last time the 19 was on the rollers it did 153bhp ATW and the computer estimated 28-30bhp trans loss and the Apexi RSM recorded 183ps which isn't shabby |
