When driving me 1.4 RT from cold and I depress the clutch the revs drop down to about 600 and then slowly drop down and down till a stall.
This only happens when cold (first 10 minutes) and only stalls if I hold the clutch down for about 30 seconds.
Any ideas?. |

Really?
It only seems to have done it since I cleaned the TB out, sorry forgot to add that.
It's not a harsh stall, the engine just dies. I thought that it was a 'common' problem, cars stalling when you depress the clutch. Road speed sensor or summat.

feck knows then, sounds like what happens when the bottom ends away.
Push the clutch down the knackered thrust washers let the crank get shoved sideways and it stalls. |

Gah timing.
Would there be any othersigns to suggest the thrust washers. Like I say, it kind of slowly dies. Fine when it's warmed up after about 10 minutes. |

It's weird it only does it when the engine is cold though.
I might try a different TB.
It also does that other thing where I blip the throttle and it goes to stall, also from cold. |
