Gonna change me oil this weekend. Have always used Castrol GTX High Mileage since I got the car, and I'm gonna change to that Comma Lite stuff now. Shall I bother gettin any sort of 'engine flush' stuff to do before the change? Or just change the oil and not bother? I remember Chris saying that Slick50 stuff was a bit crap a while ago on here! But not sure if there are actually any decent ones out there? I'm tempted to believe they're all crap tbh!

Just make sure the engine is nice and warm before you drain it.

ayee on the same issue ,
i topped my engine a wee bit too much the other day in feckin dark
the dipstick was showing a cm below the max line so after topping up it was a cm over the max line

she sounds much better now but i remember reading somewhere that topping over the max line would cause engine internals wear ?????????
true or shite ???

It can push out seals and so on, but i think you'll be ok.

Anyway, yours will burn that off within 10 miles eh Razz
