Hiya guys
I paid sum guys £150 to take my engine out and fit one that i had on floor, not incuding fuids, anyways they done it all but they snapd the bolt that goes to to downpipe from manifold.
they have said it will be £20 in kwik fit, i just tried them and they wont touch it because its a cat engined car!
anyone had this happen to them before? aparently there is about an inch hanging out of bolt which is probably mangled now due to them trying and failing to get it out. |

so the stud into the manifold has broken off?
remove the downpipe yourself.
You will then see the stud or what remains of it, you will also see the thread in the manifold wd-40 that bugger, belt the end of the stud with a hammer then get molegrips on it.
If its not shiftiung blowtorch around the thread on the manifold.
