We have a £1 shop just round the corner from where I work, popped intoday for a look see. In true Generation Game I will try and remember what I saw!

I love the pound shops. you see how many sweets, crisps and juice you can get! Its not all cheap crap either. |

the dodgy straight to video dvd's are great as well.
I actually got a few bond films on tape for £1 the latest 2, aber bought me them despite me havign them on dvd. |

i rarely go in2 em only if i really have to as a last resort, poundland seems to be good for branded stuff ive noticed stuff like sweets n chocks and drinks dint really c the tools bit tho |

With careful selection, I recon you could double your money with £10 on eBay
In fact, maybe thats a compertition next year - who can get the best return for £5 on ebay - 1p start no reserve! |

tools are generally crap. although the wire brushes, you get 10 for a pound so I buy them. |

and yes addie you can. they tend to sell black spur gear in there, they sell on ebay for more than the pound shops! |
