my r19 16v some times pops out of 2nd gear there seam to be play on the box when i take off could a mount be gone or is it a new box time for me? cheers |

Get someone to stand and watch the engine, whilst you take up the byte on the clutch in 1st, see if the engine moves alot. If not, then more than likely box time. |

live with it. My blue chammy does it.
Worse when cold, just pops out with any throttle, better when warm but will occasionally jump out when booting it or overtaking.
I checked dialogies a while back, there was a recall for this problem, i think a fair amount slipped through cos its an arse of a job! They left a shimming washer out. |
