HELP!!! my geabox is playing up somtimes when driving u cant select any gears but yet if u stop and turn engine off it will selet any gear u want no problem.. i dont no weather it is the gearbox that is the problem or the clutch/ cable or the mounting at the back off the engine or the gearbox 1?? please help!! |

so it selects gears when the engines off? but not when its running, sounds like clutch tbh. |

yea it somtimes when ur driving nt select ne gears at all nd somtimes its fine, when it wont select gears nd ur driving if u stamp on the break it wil somtimes select thas y i though the mounting nd nt the clutch.. it doesent slip on the clutch but does drag if ur sa at the lights in 1st gear... help |

Getting any vibration at all?
I would prolly go with a mounting too
get the bonnet up, get a mate to have the handbrake on, put it in first and try to pull away, if the gearbox mount has gone (which mine has) you will see the engine lift up and move quite a bit. |

And in my case hit the bonnet and the Cam pully will be rubbing against the suspension turret! |

na i dont think the mounting has gone think it it just clutch 4 now im jus gna make the cable longer with sum insulation tape lol |

there is a tiny amount of vibs in 1st but thats all i dnt think its 2 serious and i aint gna worry about it on xmas eve lol |
