not up on planes but cracking pic of it going supersonic.
The best ones are when they are flyign in rain and its a big dome in front of it. |

Yup that's a Tornado, we do the canopies, front screeen assemblies, engine air intakes and various other bits and bobs for those at work.
It is an awesome picture aint it, amazing to think that its a 60s design. The avionics systems load off a cassette tape  |

I'm quite sure, given the choice, the pilots would rather be in something more up to date! Only reason we still fly Tornados is we don't have the Americans' money to splash about on new planes!
Still, like you say, it's adequate against the old soviet stuff the middle east has.
We've got the EFA coming into service but tbh thats taken so long to come to fruition that it too is a bit outdated... |

i was under the impression that we still fly tornados cos we fucked up the eurofighter thing royaly. Give it another couple of years they said....and a decade later where are we? |
