As some may know due to my old topic, a garage broke my 52mm hub.
As 54mm are common, If I went down the scrappies and pulled two front hubs and shocks off a 1.2 or 1.4 with 54mm spacing would they bolt straight on my 1.4 without needing any mods like the lower arm changing etc...? |

Kewlness.
I was worrying about the camber being out or something like that as looking at the top strut bolts they are seated slightly diffrent.
I would have just tried it but I've spent so much on the car in the past week I litrally cannot afford to waste £50 or whatever on the front suspension and hubs. |

Cheers Chris, sounds like a plan if I can find a breakers yard open tommorow.
Any idea if theres any diffrence in the 1.2 to 1.4 setup as my 1.4 feels smoother than my 1.2 did but I'm wondering if thats just down to everything being 5 years newer than my old one. |
