I know its a Renault but my clio 16v is rattling like fury from somewhere around the roof/sunroof area, tried tightening the sunroof fixings.
Found one solution- drive one handed with my right hand no the roof, not idea |

I suppose you've removed the dealer fitted loose screw in the roof lining
All three of my Clios has had that.
Yeah mine was rattling like a bitch for ages I just tightened all of the bolts under the roof lining at it shut it up if you think about it mate it's pretty much all it can be.
Expect it to start leaking soon if it hasn't already though. |

Its done the leak thing, and the one loose screww rolling around thing, gotta love the fact if you own a renault model after a few years they all start rattling / leaking in the same areas. |
