went out to the car to pump up the tyres, notice the nearside rear bumper had a scuff on it.
Some fool through the night had obviously nudged the car.
It was a red car that did it, left its paint on my bumper, scored mine right through to the grey plastic and cracked the thing at the top.
Bastards.
Not happy. |

on this subject i have a confession to make...
a couple of weeks ago as i was leaving work and entering the car park, i saw that a woman had parked her VW passat next to my car, and appeared to have the rear door open against the side of my car, and was leaning against said door to steady herself as she got something out/put something in to the rear seat. When I reached the car she had finished what she was doing and gone. it turned out that she had indeed had her door open against mine, and there was a nasty little scrape/dent on my door.
Now, im not a naturally violent or short tempered person, but id had a bad day, and much as i hate to admit it, i lost it and flipped. I put the boot in on her car. Not just once either. the offending door ended up pretty staved in under the bump strip.
Immediately I felt guilty for doing it, and started panicking because i thought there may be CCTV cameras. About an hour later it changed to "nah fuck her, she deserved that". And so I stayed for the rest of the week, but gradually ive started thinking that I was more than a little harsh in what i did.
But yeah I agree that people seem to have no respect for other people's property. I lent my mate my laptop for a few hours over the weekend to do some mapping, it came back with half the paint on the lid scraped off and the underside covered in grease and god knows what other shit. I wasnt pleased at all. He claimed he didnt even do it. HELLO, i use the thing EVERY BLOODY DAY, i think i know what condition its in.
From now on its zero tolerance. I wont lend anything to anyone, and anyone who damages my property gets whats coming to them (or their property) |

never accidentaly nudged anpother car, reversed into one when the arse parked up my chuff in the empty street, he got out so I shoved his car about 20 feet back then he started shouting so I got out and he went quiet and ran away.
All mouth then when you get out they either shut up or you get in trouble... |

If its a tight parking spot, i'll usually stick my hand round my door as I get out, so Its my hand connecting with their car and not the solid metal of my car. |

thats very noble Huw but do you think mr average motorist and their little bastards are gonna extend the same courtesy to you? no chance they will fling the door open and belt it off your car.
I always try and park out of the way at shopping centres and supermarkets etc. |
