Thats a question, not an answer.
Renault 19 PH2's with Yellow Fogs came from a different factory to ones with Clear ones. (possible BS) |

lhd 16Vs have a better shaped downpipe and will as a result produce more power.
lhd cars have much better feel to the throttle and clutch due to shorter direct cable runs.
6 bolts hold the front subframe to the car.
4 bolts hold the rear axle to the car.
3 nuts hold the engine and gearbox in.
ph2 19's have side impact bars in the doors.
16V driveshafts are thinner than the 1.4's etc on the shaft but have bigger splines at the CV's.
E6J engines will happily rev to valve bounce frequently if in good condition, valve bounce occurs anywhere between 7.5krpm and 9krpm. |

ummm thats down to year of manufacture.
all phase 2's had yellow fogs up to mid 1993 then all the UK ones got clear fogs iirc so its mainly K plated ph2's u will see with yellow fogs and L plate and after with the clear ones |

The D4F and D7F engines are technicaly 1.15l as they only have 1149cc.
The E6J and K7M engines have the same bore but a different stroke giving different capacities.
They only ever made the Clio 1.8 RT in a 5dr and it was only made for 2 years.
The Clio Baccara is only available in Manual in LHD.
They made a PH3 Clio Baccara.
Meh, I suppose some people might not know some of that |

The Phase 1 Renault 19 16v's are rarer than Phase 2's as they were only made for a year.
Phase 1 Renault 19 bodyshells, despite being older, resist rust and corrosion far better than Phase 2's.
The 1.7 naturally-aspirated petrol engine found in the Renault 19 TSE and the Renault 5 GTX, can be found in turbocharged forms in the Volvo 440 and the Volvo 480.
The average purchase price of a 19 16v today is about £70.
The 19 16v is in insurance group 15 whereas the equivalent Clio 16v is only group 12. |

I'd love a Phase 1 Cabrio but you just don't see them anymore. |

The 16v should have blue coolant caps as they are higher pressure thatn the brown caps. |

That was a jokey one.
Wouldn't be surprised. I've seen a few that have been acquired by folks on here for under £100 if not FOC - Neal's black hatch, Chris blue hatch, Chris' black exec, Neo's blue one he paid £62-odd for etc. |
