u need some wet and dry, heatproof paint (no chance of 449 blue tho) comes in a lil tin its kinda like hammerite but heatresisitant, cam cover obviously needs 2 come off tho so replace the gasket aswell |

ok thanks,
how do you get it chemically free? doesnt say?
and i think the blue cam cover and yellow brace goes well together especially with the yellow writing on the F16 spark plug cover brings it together nicely,
looks good |

to be fair, I think you can get away with just primer and spray on the cam cover, and not bother with the etch primer. No need for heat resistant paint. Just get the closest off the shelf can.
Chemically free just means scrub it with thinners etc to get off chemical residues, but dont worry too much what it looks like
Dont paint the strut brace blue, it will look utter bollocks IMO. Black, silver or on a blue car, yellow looks quite good. |

yea im going with the yellow option, so far im gonna do a blue cam cover, yellow strut, nickle plated inlet manifold,
the blue silicone hoses look good to, are they for show, or do they genuinely work better??
thanks |

they look good and old hoses tend to be on their way out by now.
They are an arse when you want to get the air locks out of your heater matrix though, as they are too stiff to squeeze/'pump' easily with your hand |
