This car was my daily driver for 2 years. It never skipped a beat in that time, the most that needed doing was the headlight aim, a new clutch cable and a new exhaust.

It's got 71K on the clock which I believe is genuine, although it doesn't have a complete history. (There is loads of various paperwork though)

The body is sound, with just a couple of spots of rust starting to show in the usual place (rear arches).

It recently failed its MOT on the brake discs and front coil spring. (I have looked at the discs today and to be honest there is some slight surface rust but I do not belive they need replacing.)

I think this car is easily worth £200 but I am open to any offers. (Buyer would need to collect from Solihull, West midlands)

Please email me at benparfitt1@o2.co.uk if you are interested.

Thanks,

Ben

I will post pics when I can

Forgot to mention it's a 1992 on a J-plate. Points to note are that the interior is pretty much mint for this age of car. It also has some bits like push button start, induction kit and avo adjustable rear suspension. (All original parts available)

Here are some pics (sorry can't get them to hotlink because I am rubbish at that sort of thing)

Car will be sold with original phase 1 19 alloys but with Eagle F1 tyres, not the clio phase 1 wheels pictured.

Yep forgot about that. I had one lying around and I preferred it. Excuse the dirt, could do with a wash.

Read the sticky please people. You're either interested in buying it or you're not. If you're not, please leave the thread alone.

I am intrested its a car with no mot thus worth nothing.

£5 is a fair offer and more than I paid for the black exec.

Out of interest what do you think it's worth with an MOT?

12 months mot on it but no tax, ask 500 in the papers and you will get 400 for it.

With tax ask 650 should get over 500 for it.

Don;t drop it into poverty.

Main problem is the lack of ticket, that means it can't really be driven, no tax is a lesser offence.

Whats up with the engine rust? would that cause a problem in the future and how hard would it be to clean it up?
I am interested as from what you said it seems like a good runner with only some minor details.
What figure would I be looking to pay taking into account;
-Tax
-Re-MOT
-New springs/New springs with fitting
-Anything else you can think of (cleaning up?)

Oh, and a random side question, but is the performance of the chamade models slower than the hatches? Seems like a lot of extra metal (personally I think the hatches look better too)

Cheers

-By the way, when i said what figure, I was referring to the cost of jobs and their total value.

only reason the chamade is heavier than the hatch is because of the rear doors and its 20kg's heavier.

The hatch's rear screen glass weighs more than the chamades rear screen, bootlid and side panels.
