Can anybody advise me of the issues involved in doing the head gasket on a 1998 2.2DT Espace please? I believe it is a G8T engine. I'm buying one that needs the gasket doing. |

be preapred to get another head, they can bend - lots.
its not an overly bad job tbh, access isn't the best. |

LoL At the Rally option.
Job as Chris said isn't too bad but access is slim to none. I did this on our 2.2 Laguna and all i'll say is make sure you get the correct number of the various head bolts as Renault have a habbit of telling you the incorrect info and there are different lengths used at specific points on that lump.
Getting the Inlet off can be fun though so I hope you have small fingers |
